Numerous plains and plateaus, South Sudan is mainly connected by the Nile River, this river is surround the country from end to end. The soil of this country is composed of heavy clay and silt. Deforestation is one of the major problems of South Sudan, resulting in soil erosion and degradation. Over fishing and improper disposal of seweges also contributes to the vast damage in bodies of water. Contaminants and pollutants mixed with bodies of water makes some of the country's potable water become hazardous, unfit for human consumption and is sometimes fatal.
